RAPIDMINER STUDIO LAUNCHER JAVA COULD NOT BE LAUNCHED WINDOWS 10

Platform: Windows 10 Pro Version 1803 17134.345 (X64) Language: English (United States) Loaded Profiles: SR (Available Profiles: SR & Administrator) Ran by SR (administrator) on DESKTOP-A0OS1Q6 (Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Scan result of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) (圆4) Version: 24-11-2019 It appeared just some minutes ago after a few attempts to reload the page and finally I can write this to you. For example the first times I tried to write this text, there was no text box to write onto.

I am not sure that I have understood your instructions about attaching files, Is it attaching thise 2 files or copy-pasting the texts here? So I think I will do both, This is partly because the connection is not so good right now and I am having a hard time to communicate with you properly. The other symptom is that whatever is installed, it opens Firefox windows every few minutes. If I click Enter the window goes away but the program remains installed. When I click to uninstall it a dos window appears with some Russian(?) characters which I cannot understand. The next (new) problem is that in my installed programs list I see one called Cloudnet, which was installed today unintentionally. Which is also a new thing caused obviously by the infection. I attempted to run Malwarebytes but each time I try I get a message saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. The next time it did not ask to remove anything and showed the removed threats. Upon rebooting the defender found them again and I removed them again.

As fas as I can see, the only realistic option to use (much) more memoy is a 64 Bit OS plus the 64 Bit version of RapidMiner. After a suspicious download windows defender found some threats.

I heard once that there should be some Windows hacks to increase this limit to something like 1.8 Gig on 32 Bit Windows but I never tried and can hardly imagine. Maybe there are some other background programs preventing you to fetch more than the 1.2 Gigabytes you can use on your machine but there is not much space left anyway

I remember the limit on 32 Bit Windows machines to be about 1.4 Gig and on 32 Bit Linux machines to be about 1.6 Gig during our tests here.

Unfortunately not, it is much less (depending on the machine and the OS): A 32-bit process that is running on a 64-bit machine can acquire up to 4 GB of private virtual memory. Using the /3 GB Boot.ini switch, 32-bit processes can acquire up to 3 GB of virtual memory. I know that the amount of memory a process can use is restricted in a 32 bit environment, but that limit should be at least 2 GB:įor 32-bit processes running on a 32-bit machine, the upper limit of the private portion of the process address space is 2 GB. The big question that's left is: why can't the JVM not use more of my computers memory? My PC is running WinXP Pro 32 bit with 3 GB RAM. So, I suspect that the Java Virtual Machine cannot use more than 1154 MB of RAM on my machine, but the standard parameters are trying to allocate as much memory as possible - which prevents the JVM from starting (wild speculation). I tried different parameters and figured out that it only works up to 1154 MB:Īnything above, and it won't start anymore.
